PATHways Senior Behavioral Health Program is dedicated
to treating the older adult experiencing difficulties
related to mental health issues such as memory,
behavioral changes or depression.
Depression, confusion,
agitation,

older. These may be indicative of a behavioral
health illness.
The
professional staff of the PATHways Senior
Behavioral Health Program can assist individuals
with obtaining the appropriate treatment to meet their
emotional and medical needs.
We are committed to
treating individuals with care and respect to
enhance:

- Independence
- Physical and Mental Health
- Socialization
- Relationships
- Optimal Level of Functioning
Our ten-bed inpatient unit,
designed solely for the older adult,
is located on the third floor of Shamokin Area
Community Hospital. The unit provides
24-hour care for those in need of more intensive therapy such as
critical behavioral health problems, and because
of our convenient hospital setting, the program
is also equipped to care for those with medical needs in addition
to mental health issues.
