SACH is licensed for 38 acute care, inpatient beds, including 7 intensive care unit beds. Because heart disease is among the leading causes of death in our area, we offer extensive Cardiac Care Services.

Also within Shamokin Hospital is a 15-bed Transitional Care Unit, providing sub-acute care. Our Transitional Care Unit provides comfort and care by qualified and compassionate staff with services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, activities and nutrition care.

Shamokin Hospital also boasts a comprehensive array of Geriatric Psychiatry Services meeting the needs of our elderly population.
