The surgical department at Shamokin Area Community Hospital (SACH) offers the latest in surgical technology, compasssionate pre-operative and post-operative care and a highly trained staff of medical professionals. Advanced surgical procedures in various specialties are performed each day by our surgical staff.

The surgical department at SACH is located on the first floor of the two-year old West Wing. The surgical department is composed of three operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, a five-bed post anesthesia care unit and a nine-bed same-day surgery unit. Both inpatient and outpatient procedures are performed in this unified environment, which promotes your continuum of care.
